Compression Therapy

From spider bursts to varicose veins and thrombosis - venous pathology is widespread. One in four males and one in two females in Germany suffer from it.
Lack of exercise, standing or sitting for hours on end are considered the most frequent causes of pathological veins. Other risk factors include pregnancy, weakness of conjunctive tissue and inheritance.

An early start of effective treatment is most essential. Compression therapy remains the be-all and end-all of the treatment of pathological veins. Modern compression stockings are soft, comfortable knitwear, easy to don and remove and ensuring optimal exchange of temperature and moisture. If you see them, you will hardly know the difference to ordinary opaque fine-gauge pantyhoses, which makes them ideal to wear at work and leisure.
